Summary

Offers two "borderless" perspectives on global population and wealth distribution.

Finds peaks of population and wealth (GNP) within 1000km of a given point on earth. The largest population peaks are in China, India, and central Europe with much smaller peaks in North and South America, west and east Africa, and elsewhere. The largest wealth peaks are in central Europe, Japan, and North America, with much smaller peaks elsewhere.

Finds maximum accessibility of population (average distance from a point on earth to global population) near the crossroads of China, India, Pakistan, and Tajikistan, and maximum access to wealth in southern Scandinavia.
