I'm a PhD student at Northwestern University, studying online collaboration. My doctoral dissertation focuses on the founding of new communities - who starts them, why they start them, and how what happens early on influences their future.

I'm a member of the Community Data Science Collective, and typically use computational methods to approach the social science questions that I am interested in.
