Questions

What about when things are titles/proper names but it's not obvious? Examples:

• Semantic Web (often capitalized as a proper name phrase, and in the field there's a distinction often made between "capital" SW and "lowercase" sw)
• Questions, Options, Criteria (name of software and technique).

Titles aren't always unique

There do exist different articles that share the same title. For example, there is both a journal article and a conference article by the title "Using Social Psychology to Motivate Contributions to Online Communities". --Reid 21:16, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

In that case, I think we want a disambiguation page, and titles like "Using Social Psychology to Motivate Contributions to Online Communities (Journal Article)" and "Using Social Psychology to Motivate Contributions to Online Communities (Conference Article)". This has disadvantages for auto-import and robots, though. I think using SEO-friendly titles is good for humans, most of the time, though it's messier than proper identifiers.
