Kim Claes is a PhD Student at INSEAD (expected Graduation June 2015).

He is interested in the social construction of markets and categories and focuses on the social determinants of audience evaluations/valuations of firms within. He has published in Organization Science and is currently working on several projects analysing: the role of firm product portfolio complexity on its evaluation by different types of audiences, the role of firms' positions in media induced semantic networks on the valuation of these firms' outputs, and the role of social similarity between venture founders and VCs on the valuation of these ventures.
