I am an archaeology graduate student. This will be my second year of my graduate program. I am interested in researching the contingencies (geographical, cultural, social, etc) that affected the adoption of agriculture into Indonesia before, during and after the Austronesian expansion around 3500 years before present. I hope to conduct my dissertation research in Indonesia, but I may also expand into other regions of south and southeast Asia for comparative purposes.
